I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions. - James Michener

Loving my new t-shirt.

Revision is done, kinda. By 'done' I mean it's been sent to my faithful readers (i.e. my mother and select friends who aren't afraid to tell me that part of it sucks) and I've printed it out to get a better perspective on how it reads. It's changed tenses twice and changed plot lines once, and still I want to rip it up one minute and kiss it the next. I had a few interesting chats with a few writers during the book festival which set my mind to rest with the revision thing - one woman rewrote her bestseller four times before it was picked up.

Autumn has hit Inverness, and the air has a gorgeous scent of autumn - that fresh chill that beckons you to sit by a fire with a good book. Below, the Black Isle, but could be Kansas:
And my favorite photo lately - another sunset, this from our second-floor window:
Scribbling on. And on.

Would love to read some of your work... Kansas isn't alone in the Scotland/USA comparisons - Chicago, Pacific Highway (although in Scotland people get round the corners a helluva lot faster!) and, of course, New Orleans!! x
